This is the lady that makes our magical evening soup. I have been fortunate enough to have her support over the last 30 years here in Cumuru. During your stay she will oversee rooms and general cleanliness and provides great smiles and laughs throughout the week with an outgoing sense of daily good humour. She also takes you through a culinary demonstration as to how to make coconut oil

My name is Cecília, I’ve been living in Cumuruxatiba since 2014. The word Yoga means ‘unit’, derived from sanscrit word ‘Yug’ that means ‘unify’. But the term Yoga can be defined as a scienc of right living. There are many different techniques and practices such as Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Bandha, Shatkarma and Meditation. Together they work to create harmony, balance and stability between the physical body, mind and emotions, what promotes well being and expansion of consciousness. The great master Swami Sivananda explains Yoga as “the integration and harmony between mind, words and action or the integration of head, heart and hands. During the Cumuru Cleanse we will be practising Asana, Pranayama and Yoga Nidra. Those practices act in the stabilization of body and mind, promoting the liberation of potential energy and giving to the body-mind system vitality, strenght, flexibility, creativity, clear mind, joviality and balance.
