Zika and Dengue?
So far this year 2018 there have been no outbreaks of Zika or Dengue in Cumuruxatiba. We don't have many mosquitoes around the house as the gardens are well maintained.
There are 2 pharmacies. There are supermarkets and some arts and crafts shops.

Very safe and warm. There are many reefs so the tides comes in and out over great distances, as a result there are no currents or rip tides. There is a 16 metre pool at the house and thats great for swimming also. We often take a boat trip during the week for snorkelling on the reefs or to visit Curumbau or just to go fishing, and that will depend on weather etc

No. Though its a tropical region spiders and snakes do exist. But I have not seen sight of these over the last few years.

No, its not available or recommended.
Do you take bespoke groups ?
Yes, if you want to make up a small private group of friends or family, from 3- 6 people, please enquire.
What about Preparing, any special
advice re diet before going ?
I advise people to decaffeinate over 1-2 weeks before starting on the fast. That includes all forms of caffeine ,green tea, tea, energy drinks even some headache medications contain caffeine!. Stopping caffeine suddenly can give certain people a withdrawal headache so its better to come off it slowly over a period of 1-2 weeks.
Do You recommend any brand of
Coconut Water ?
In Cumuruxatiba we are fortunate to have fresh organic Coconut water. In my opinion thats the best. Whatever you can source that comes close to that.
is a good UK brand.
How often should one do a low calorie
intermittent fast ?
That really depends on your response. If you have had a good response and you are trying to get rid of a certain symptoms , say fatigue for example. If your fatigue is gone then it might very well be that some of the food molecules you have avoided during the cleanse are responsible for this. You can reintroduce a new food item daily and watch how your body responds to it. On return you should take this up with your health professional. Whether you have done the Cumuru Cleanse or the Urban Cleanse reentry is the same process. If you have symptom improvement, following a cleanse, I suggest you should avoid Gluten, Dairy and Chicken for 3 months and then reassess, In my clinical experience I have observed these foods can contribute to Cytokine release in certain people and promote a variety of symptoms.
Always consult with your healthcare professional as regards any changes to you make to your personal health programme.
